Founder
Prior to starting Plus Curiosity in Tokyo in 2018, Theo was based in Hong Kong, first as Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Retail in the APAC region, then as COO of Husband Retail Consulting, an HK-based consultancy focused on placemaking and advising shopping centre developers in Asia & the Middle East.
Theo also spent five years in Shanghai where he first served in a regional retail expansion role for Apple, then as Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s retail leasing business in China.
Theo is half American and half Japanese, and a native of Tokyo.

After graduating from Waseda University, Asami joined Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. then moved to New York., where she was involved in F&B-related writing whilst participating in the launch of local restaurants. After returning to Japan, she joined Cafe Company and then joined Mitsui Fudosan.

Marco Pagani is an interdisciplinary Creative Director specialized in 360° creative strategy for fashion & lifestyle brands, working across brand campaigns from concept to execution, with a strong focus on content creation for social media, editorial planning, and e-commerce

Sean grew up interested in history and international culture. He majored in International Relations at the University of Melbourne, Australia where he gained skills in research and report writing, and did exchange at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He then worked in international education in Niigata and Tokyo.
